St Francis (center) blesses the peregrinos in Carrion de Los Condes.
Karl Stonebraker (l.) and Jim Thobaben walked the Camino de Santiago in August and September of 2008. Stonebraker is a United Methodist pastor in Ohio. Thobaben is a seminary professor in Kentucky and a UM pastor. The two are longtime friends and have hiked many a trail together, although the Camino was by far the longest ever at one go.
